In order to create a new way-finding system for the MLB (Modern Languages Building) I began by determining what the biggest faults were with the system in place. From my walk throughs of the building I discovered an overall lack of signage and continuity from what was already there. Using this information I chose to create a bold design that stands out from its surroundings. This includes a typeface, color palette, and shape that would not be overpowered by the surrounding architecture.
